President of Pink's Hot Dogs, Richard Pink, called Klein Ally Show to deliver the news live on air; "The Hamdogger is officially a staple at PINKS and people love it." The Hamdogger was originally pitched to PINKS from KROQ's Kevin Klein during their 'Menu Redo' segment. Richard loved the concept of "twice the fun on just one bun" and agreed to test the half hotdog, half hamburger at his Hollywood location. After just two months of testing, they are now selling "over 30 a day" for the appropriately priced $10.67.
