About COIN:

Gold-certified alternative pop phenomenon COIN return with a brand-new single entitled “Chapstick.” It notably marks the Nashville trio’s first single for 10K Projects/Homemade Projects. An accompanying music video, directed by Dan Henry.

On the track, co-produced by Julian Bunetta, a head-nodding bass line holds down the groove as funky guitars simmer. The vocals flutter from hypnotic verses into a swaggering and slick chorus. “Chapstick” stands out as a balmy bop without boundaries. On the new song, COIN say; “Chapstick” is an attempt to describe something as inhuman as AI experiencing something so acutely human as a first kiss.”

COIN continue to make waves. People recently touted them among “The Talented Emerging Artists Making Their Mark on the Musical Landscape in 2021,” and went on to add, “This alt-pop group is giving other bands a run for their money.”

COIN present a new picture for alternative pop. The Nashville triumvirate have impressively generated over 1 billion streams and earned a gold certification for their 2017 breakthrough anthem “Talk Too Much.” In between releasing albums such as COIN [2015], How Will You Know If You Never Try [2017], and Dreamland [2020], they’ve toured alongside everyone from The 1975 to Young The Giant and earned widespread acclaim from Entertainment Weekly, Teen Vogue, Billboard and many more.
