Dodgers lose 4-0 to Giants in Game 1 of Division Series

The Dodgers couldn’t muster any offensive momentum Friday night against the Giants, losing 4-0 to San Francisco in Game 1 of the National League Division Series.

Friday’s game was the first time the Dodgers were shut out in the postseason since Game 3 of the 2018 NCLS. Los Angeles only hit five balls.

Game 2 is set for Saturday, with the first pitch at 6:07 p.m. Twenty-game-winning Julia Urias will take the mound for the Dodgers against the Giants Kevin Gausman.

The Giants set a new MLB single-season, home run record this year in September with 236, besting their previous record from the 2001 season.

Despite living in Brentwood before her move, Vice President Harris said she's rooting for her hometown. Gov. Gavin Newsom rallied the Giants to "Beat LA," seemingly overlooking his imminent statewide reelection campaign.
