According to Glendale police, a gold BMW and a white Mercedes G-Wagon drove onto the field to do “donuts” — a maneuver entailing rotating the rear or front of a vehicle around the opposite set of wheels in a continuous motion, creating a circle skid-mark pattern. They allegedly left the field with deep tire-track scars. In images released by law enforcement, water appeared to pool in at least one part of the field, indicating possible damage to a sprinkler or pipe.

It is estimated the suspects caused more than $4,000 in damage to the grass and underground irrigation system.

The suspects' vehicles were last seen driving off the field through the park’s exit on Western Avenue.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the Glendale POlice Department at (818) 548-4991.
