A victim in the shooting at a fire station in Agua Dulce has been identified by the LA County Medical Examiner-Coroner.

Tory Carlon, 44, was from Santa Clarita, according to the LA County Medical Examiner-Coroner. The identification for the man, who died at the residence in Acton, is still pending, according to the PIO in an email.

One firefighter is dead and another was injured after an off-duty firefighter allegedly opened fire at Fire Station 81 in Agua Dulce Tuesday morning.

It appears that a longstanding, workplace dispute was behind the shootings at the Agua Dulce fire station. Fire officials won't confirm anything about the wounded firefighter or release his name.

LA County Fire Chief Daryl Osby confirmed that a fire captain, 54, was shot and transported to Henry Mayo Hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition.

The shooter was an off-duty firefighter. He returned to his home in Acton after the shooting, barricaded himself in the home and set the home on fire. He was later found dead on the scene with a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head.

On Twitter Tuesday afternoon, LA County Fire tweeted "It is with heavy hearts that the LACoFD confirms that a tragic shooting occurred at approximately 10:55 a.m. today at FS 81 in Agua Dulce. The Dept. is still in the process of gathering additional information & are cooperating with law enf. throughout this ongoing incident."

On the GoFundMe page set up for Carlon, it said "He leaves behind his wive, Heidi, and three young daughters. Everyone who knew Tory, loved him. He was an extremely dedicated father and husband who brought a sense of calm to everyone. He absolutely loved being a firefighter and to serving others. His family and friends are devastated by this loss. We appreciate all thoughts and prayers."
