Jamie Lee Curtis has frightened her fair share of horror movie fanatics, and she’s not ready to hang up the hat just yet.

In fact, the “Scream Queen” wants to take things up a notch, revealing to Entertainment Weekly that she would love to voice the devil in the upcoming “Exorcist” reboot.

The 62-year-old --  who made it adamantly clear that she’s not a fan of horror films -- said landing the gig would be a “full-circle” moment for her.

“When I was 15, my parents [actors Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis] screened the ‘Exorcist’ and my friends teased me the next day because I was so freaked out. I loathe being scared by scary movies,” Curtis admitted.

"Maybe I should be the voice of the devil like Mercedes McCambridge," Curtis added, likening herself to the original voice actress.

Luckily for Curtis, David Gordon Green, the director of “Halloween Kills,” the latest installment in the “Halloween” franchise where she reprises the role of Laurie Strode, is also spearheading the “Exorcist” reboot.

"You see, if David gives me a part in the new Exorcist trilogy as the voice of the devil, then it is a full-circle return for me, in a meta way. That would blow people's minds,” she explained.

Though you’d think her connection to Green and her genre-specific acting credits -- which also include “The Fog” and “Prom Night” -- might give her a leg up, that’s not entirely the case.

When EW asked Green if Curtis mentioned her desire to be involved in the upcoming “Exorcist” trilogy, he noted: “Ooh, she has not!”

“I’ll have to get her to audition for that one. You know, she did the crying baby for the last ‘Halloween’ movie, so she’s a talented voice actor as well,” he joked.

The new “Exorcist” is set to star “Hamilton’s” Leslie Odom Jr. as the father of a possessed child who seeks help from Chris MacNeil, played by Ellen Burstyn.

Per Deadline, the franchise will encompass three films and is described as a continuation of the 1973 original rather than a remake.
