A Los Angeles Police Department patrol vehicle was involved in a crash with another vehicle Wednesday in the Mid-City area.
Paramedics were sent to the 5100 block of West Venice Boulevard at about 9 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One person was transported for hospital treatment in unknown condition. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
