Paris Jackson recently landed a frightening role on the new “American Horror Stories” spinoff series, and she has her godfather, Macaulay Culkin, to thank.

The 23-year-old budding actress and daughter of Michael Jackson told E! News about taking advice from Culkin, 40, before booking her role on Ryan Murphy’s new Hulu series.

"They were very, very uptight about the NDAs and things like that," Jackson said, referring to non-disclosure agreements required during the Hollywood casting process. "But I did figure, he signed an NDA, he's in the AHS family. I feel like if I could tell anyone, it would be him."

The "Home Alone" star will appear in the upcoming 10th season of original series "American Horror Story," which has been titled "Double Feature."

Jackson said her godfather encouraged her to “overdo it at certain points” and “kind of, like, overact and kind of make it theatrical.”

"American Horror Stories" recently launched with a two-episode premiere, titled “Rubber(wo)man Part One” and “Rubber(wo)man Part Two. The series mirrors the very first season of “AHS” that centered around a family that moves into a house haunted by its deceased former occupants.

Jackson plays the role of Maya, a new classmate and potential love interest of Scarlett (played by Sierra McCormick).

Little is known about Culkin’s upcoming role on "AHS," although his goddaughter revealed their roles on the different shows share some gory similarities.

"I sent him a picture of my face covered in blood and then he sent me a picture of blood in his hair," Jackson said of sharing on-set selfies with Culkin while shooting the two shows. "It was cute."

“American Horror Stories” drops new episodes Thursdays on FX on Hulu. While season 10 of "American Horror Story: Double Feature" will debut on August 25 on FX.
