During her recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, to promote her brand new single “Love On,” Selena Gomez faced off against a super-fan to see who knows more about SelGo. Spoiler alert — it wasn’t Selena. It did not end well for the singer.

During a trivia game segment called “Who Knows Selena Gomez?,” a fan named Ashley bested Gomez with all the facts, revealing she knows the star better than she knows herself. For the grand prize Ashley got to take home Gomez’s actual junk drawer, which the star autographed, of course.
Later in the show, Kimmel asked Gomez if there was any celebrity she was “obsessed with,” and the answer was yes.
“Who was your Selena Gomez?” Kimmel inquired. “Kurt Cobain,” she answered, surprising the host.
Born in 1992, Selena was just a few months shy of two years old when the Nirvana frontman passed. But as she explained, “My mom obviously would play all kinds of music for me growing up,” Adding, “I kind of got obsessed and dyed my hair and cut my hair like him.”
“I know a little too much,” Gomez noted, revealing she had posters of Cobain and that she “would rewatch his interviews, I would watch his performances, I had seen his documentary like 12 times.”
