Vanessa Bryant on Wednesday shared the names of the LA County Sheriff's Department's deputies who allegedly took and shared pictures of the helicopter crash site where Kobe Bryant and other victims died last year.

The names appear in a series of photos of the lawsuit Bryant posted on her Instagram page Wednesday - the lawsuit she filed against the LASD, LA County and LA County Fire Department, and the four people.

The names are listed as: Joey Cruz, Rafael Mejia, Michael Russell and Raul Versales, according to the lawsuit photos.

A judge in early March ruled that the LA County Sheriff's Department deputies, who allegedly took photos at the Kobe Bryant crash site, could be named.

Last month the National Transportation Safety Board announced the final results of their investigation into the crash that killed Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others in January 2020. Those victims included John Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Sarah Chester and Payton Chester, Christina Mauser and pilot Ara Zobayan.

The lawsuit writes that Vanessa was concerned that the crash site would be unprotected from photographers, and LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva assured her that his deputies were securing the scene.

"This assurance was hollow," the lawsuit writes going on to say that "Notwithstanding Sheriff Villanueva's later acknowledgement that Sheriff's Department's personnel "had no place to be taking photographs of anything" the deputies who responded to the crash scene used personal cell phones to take and share gratuitous photos of the dead children, parents and coaches. According to the Sheriff's Department's subsequent investigatory report, one deputy in particular took between 25 and 100 photos of the crash scene on his personal cell phone, many of which had no conceivable investigatory purpose and were focused directly on the victims' remains."

The lawsuit continues to allege various instances and situations where the four deputies allegedly showed the photos to others including within the department.

Bryant has talked about the loss of her husband and daughter and has also said their three other daughters, Natalia, 18, Bianka, 4, and 20-month-old Capri, are the reason she gets up every morning, and they help her through the pain.
