VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (KNX) — A man was arrested for allegedly lighting a tent fire while two homeless people were inside in Thousand Oaks.

34-year-old Robert Burn was taken into custody early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to Lynn Road and the 101 Freeway around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday where it was reported that an encampment had been attacked, the Los Angeles Times reported.

An argument between Burn, who is also homeless, and one of the victims reportedly ensued before Burn doused the tent with a flammable liquid and lit it on fire.
