YouTube is jumping off the computer screen and bringing entertainment to life and in person.
The YouTube Theater in Inglewood is a three-story building across from the SoFi Stadium in the Hollywood Park Complex. The theater seats anywhere from 3,400 to 6,000 people.
The theater management said the size reflects the needs of locals and the surrounding area.
“6,000 we thought was really complimentary both in terms of the region but also here locally," said Jason Gannon, managing director of the theater, SoFi Stadium, and Hollywood Park.
The stadium will host concerts, comedy shows, community events and even YouTube creator events. There will also be premium features including a private club with a direct line of sight to the stage.

Angela Courtin, vice president of brand marketing at YouTube, said it's a one-of-a-kind stadium.
"It’s obviously a very unique business opportunity to bridge the digital and physical worlds to create truly global moments," she said.
Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts said the stadium is "beautiful."
"I saw the renderings and imagined what it could be," he said. "It isn’t even close to what the manifest reality is."
Butts added he sees the potential the new stadium could brings.
"Pride, jobs, a new beginning."
Upcoming events at the YouTube Theater include the Hollywood Black Comedy Festival and concerts by Pitbull and TLC.
