Thinking about going for a bike ride this weekend? Not in Ocean Beach!
As of Feb. 3, a temporary full closure of the Ocean Beach bike path is in effect between Pacific Highway and Morena Boulevard.
Look out for detour routes and make sure to use extra caution while traveling in the area where construction is going on. Due to the complexity of the work at hand, the closures may be postponed at any time without notice.
Amongst the projects planned for the Ocean Beach bike path are a full repaving of the path itself and the installation of a handrail.Early reports say full closure of The O.B. bike path will last approximately four weeks. And is expected to re-open at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 28th.View closure updates at ShiftSanDiego.com, Facebook.com/MidCoastTrolley, or Twitter.com/MidCoastTrolley.
