It's back to school season! While you're out shopping for your kid's school supplies, teachers are also working on getting their classrooms ready for the new school year. Many teachers are forced to pay out of pocket to buy things they need for their students. So we are looking to YOU our amazing KSON listeners to help us clear the lists of some local teachers that need a little help.
This week we are featuring Melissa who currently has over sixty 8th graders this year in her ELA and History classes at Chet F. Harritt School Santee. She sent us this message about the struggles she is going through with supplying her classroom this year:
"Unfortunately, our annual classroom budget didn’t increase with inflation and many items I can typically buy a class set of will now take my entire budget. I appreciate all you do for our community and hope my list and many others are able to be cleared!"
