Children who are between the ages of one and four are at the greatest risk of drowning, and home swimming pools are the place they’re most likely drown. The Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego believes that drowning is preventable, and is working with local cities and School Districts, by funding, coordinating, and promoting learn-to-swim programs at local pools.
