Since Judd’s accident when she shattered her leg in four places, the star has made her first public appearance. The 53-year-old actress posted pictures on Tuesday from a trip to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.
Judd was seen with a brace as she walked around the ballpark.
“Here I am inside the #greenmonster where I was stunned to see scratches on the wall where someone kept track of #tedwilliams home runs….so very cool!” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you, #redsox for helping us make some very special family memories!”

The actress mentioned how she took her father and partner to the game.
“It was so refreshing to take a summer evening’s pause from the troubles of the word to engage in #americaspasttime at the iconic and nostalgic @fenwaypark to see the @redsox play #baseball,” she wrote on Instagram.
Since the accident, Judd gave a promising update to her fans back in August.
Following a lengthy rehabilitation – which she documented on social media – the 53-year-old announced that she could finally walk on her own again.
“Dear Friends, It is with reverence and quiet awe I offer this update. Today, five months and three weeks after the accident in the Congolese rainforest, I walked again, and in what fashion! I hiked in the #SwissNationalPark,” she wrote on Instagram alongside several photos showcasing the massive amount of progress she’s made since the initial incident.
Judd had previously disclosed how she endured a 55-hour rescue to arrive at the intensive care unit after falling over a broken tree. In addition to shattering her leg, she suffered nerve damage and underwent an eight-hour surgery back in the United States.
The “Heat” star had been in the Congo at a research camp studying an endangered species of apes called bonobos.
