Brantley has raised eyebrows with his new single to Country radio featuring Toby Keith and HARDY, which pokes fun at all the stereotypes of Country music. Appropriately titled, “The Worst Country Song Of All Time,” the lyrics mock Country fans’ love for things like beer, trucks and fishing all in the name of fun.
Brantley, a Georgia native and stereotypical Country boy is joined by two fellow Country lovers with Toby and HARDY, who would never be caught seriously bashing those topics. Toby even states in the song, “This song’s a joke.”
The three proved they are clearly not afraid to stir the pot since early promotions for the single began with Gilbert, HARDY and Keith teasing fans on social media with a staged conversation about the actual worst Country song of all time.
“Toby Keith’s ‘Red Solo Cup,’ is the worst of all time,” HARDY wrote in the staged chat.
“I agree with you about ‘Red Solo Cup,’ but ‘Rednecker,’ might give it a run for it’s money,” Toby teased back, referring to HARDY’s debut single.
Brantley replied back claiming, “I’m pretty sure I’ve got you both beat,” along with the attachment of an audio file stating, “The Worst Country Song Of All Time.”
