Wallen took to social media earlier this week (Feb. 24) to share a clip of the unreleased song, “Superman,” which reflects on his own decisions and how they could impact his son’s outlook on him as he gets older.
“Been trying for a long time to write a song I loved to my son,” Morgan shared along with a clip of the song. “None of them ever feel good enough because of how perfect I want something like this to be. And not saying this is perfect, but I am very proud of it.”
The lyrics are straightforward and honest as Wallen sings, “One day he’s gonna see my mugshot from a night when I got a little too drunk / Hear a song about a girl that I lost / From the times when I just wouldn’t grow up.” The song continues, “And when you ain’t a kid no more / I hope you don’t think less of me / I try to hide my fallen soul / But you’re gonna see.”
The song is one of a few new ones Wallen has shared in 2025. Others include “Lies, Lies, Lies,” “Smile,” and the title track for his upcoming, fourth studio album, “Somebody’s Problem.” While the release date has yet to be shared, Wallen did share plans for his accompanying I’m the Problem tour. The trek will visit 10 cities with back-to back shows in each (except Madison, WI). It all kicks off in Houston on June 20 and 21 and will continue through September with the last pair of shows taking place in Edmonton, AB on September 12 and 13. A rotating lineup of special guests will join Wallen on the trek including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel. Also joining for select dates will be Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson.
“We made so many lifelong memories on the One Night at A Time World Tour, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for my fans and the way they showed up each night,” Wallen expressed. “As I’ve been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the I’m The Problem Tour. See y’all there.”
