Reba McEntire is recalling a sticky situation she found herself in after taking a 25mg gummy.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the red-headed Country icon shared all the details recalling that one time she decided to give gummies a try after seeing how much they helped her sick mother, Jacqueline, relax and fall asleep.
“When we started going to bed, I said, ‘Mama, let’s get ahead of this pain. I’m gonna give you half of this,'" she explained while also sharing her lack of experience with them made her uncomfortable giving the entire gummy. "She said, ‘Well, what do I do with it?’ I said, ‘Put it in between your cheek and your gum like a dip of Skoal or something,’ you know? So, she did, and boy, she just went to sleep."
Reba continued, "I thought, ‘Well, shoot. Mama’s taking it. I need to see what she’s experiencing.’"
That’s when McEntire popped the other half in her mouth, fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the night experiencing the full effects. "I threw back the covers — and that’s about as far as I got,” she recalled, explaining she was trying to get up to assist her mom with a trip to the bathroom and glass of water from the kitchen which was “a long ways away”. “I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, I gotta help her. I’m gonna look like a wimp if I don’t.’ So, I thought I’m either gonna crawl over the bed or I’m gonna walk around."
While she successfully made it to her mother’s bedside, a trip to the kitchen wasn’t in the cards for the now 69-year-old who decided on handing her mother an iceless, old cup of H2O.
"I just turned back to Mom, and I said, ‘Here you go.’ And she took a sip, and she said, ‘Ugh, where’s the ice?’ And I said, ‘We’re out.’ She said, ‘We’re out of ice?’ I said, ‘Yeah,'" continued Reba.
As she laid back in bed, the singer-songwriter swore she saw “weeds and flowers growing out of my head,” promoting her to ask family members more familiar with the gummies the next day what exactly she took.
"So, the next day I ask everybody, ‘How many milligrams were in those things?’" Questioned Reba, who was told each full gummy contained "50" milligrams. "I took 25 milligrams. Gave my mom 25 milligrams. Still took care of Mama,” she laughed.
