The Padres found their power stroke on Saturday night, slugging four home runs in an 11-3 rout of the Rockies at Petco Park. Jordan Beck's RBI-single in the top of the 1st put the Padres in an early hole, but it would be a short-lived deficit. Ramon Laureano tied the game with a sac-fly in the bottom of the 1st, and then Fernando Tatis Jr. put the Padres on top for good with a 2-run blast in the 2nd inning. Manny Machado and Jackson Merrill each homered in the third to put the Padres up 5-1. It was Machado's second consecutive game with a long ball, and he continued to break out of his slump with a 2-run single in the 4th. Dylan Cease earned a quality start, allowing just one run in six innings of work, as the Padres cruised to an 11-3 win.
