Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A North Las Vegas charter school assistant principal was arrested earlier this week and faces numerous charges related to inappropriate behavior with minors.
42-year-old Pernell Graham works at CIVICA Career & Collegiate Academy. According to Las Vegas Metro Police, they believe the alleged crimes did not occur at the charter school but at a previous job. Before his current position, Graham previously worked for several different locations for the Clark County School District
He’s currently behind bars at the Clark County Detention Center, where he faces the following charges:
- -Sexual Assault with a Child Under 16 Years of Age (6 Counts)
- -Sexual Assault
- -Kidnapping, 1st Degree
- -Child Abuse/Neglect, With Substantial Bodily or Mental Harm
- -School Employee Engage in Sexual Act with Pupil (2 Counts)
Detectives believe there may be additional victims due to Graham’s involvement with youth.
