Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The Clark County Department of Aviation released passenger numbers at Reid International Airport for March and, once again, it showed passenger numbers lagging.

The Department said that 4.6 million people came through Reid in March, which was down 4% from the 4.8 million that passed through in March of 2025. The numbers of visitors from abroad continues to be way off, down 15 percent from March of 2025.

For the year, Reid Airport passenger numbers are down just over 5% from 2025.

Once again, Southwest Airlines was the airport’s dominant carrier, followed by Delta, United, American and Frontier.

The news wasn’t all bad, though, as March’s gaming win saw a nice bump. The Nevada Gaming Control Board said state casinos won $1.427 billion for the month, an 11.8 percent increase over a year ago and just under the record $1.433 billion won in December 2023.

The big number was driven in large part by nice gains on both the Strip (up 14%) and downtown (up nearly 21%).
