Jordan scored more than 1,600 points during his college days at Penn, and is sixth on the program's all-time scoring list. After college, he enjoyed a ton of success playing overseas in many different countries.
"Overseas isn't for everybody," he said of the experience. "A lot of people get over there and they're like, 'Man, I'm done.' They play one year or they get over there and after half a year they're like, 'You know what, this isn't for me.' I was fortunate to be able to play as long as I could. I just went into every situation with an open mind and try to make the best of every situation that I had. I was getting paid to play basketball."
Prior to joining the coaching staff at Drexel, Jordan served as an assistant coach at Colgate. He discussed why he loves to coach.
"I love basketball. After my experience with the coaches that I had growing up, they were all very positive influences on my life. They were all father figures for me at a certain point in my life," he explained. "So I wanted to coach because I wanted to be that for somebody else. I wanted to give back what was given to me."
