PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Slowly but surely, hospitals are developing ways for patients to come to physician offices as well as start to have important elective procedures and studies.

The key to this is the ability to provide safe environments.

No one can say anything is COVID-19-free until we have 100% effective testing in real time. But there are many things that can be done to dramatically reduce the risk.

The most important point is that many people are ignoring other very important health issues that we never would have ignored in the past.

It’s important to take the time to reach out to your doctor and talk about when it’s safe to make an appointment.
