PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — It is estimated that only five percent of the country has been infected with COVID-19. Assuming that we need about 65 to 70 percent exposure to start to build herd immunity, there is still a good chance many of us will be potentially exposed.

As we wait for a vaccine or a treatment, there are certain things we can do.

The first is to exercise on a regular basis, the second is to try and reduce stress, and the third thing to do is to eat as healthy of a diet as possible — there is no doubt that weight loss can play a huge part in helping an individual fight COVID-19 in the event of infection.
