PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — What should you do if you have chest pain and there is no radiation to the jaw or any of the classic signs of a heart attack, no shortness of breath, and feel fine otherwise?

Many people are faced with this decision every day. But if you experience this, you should go to the doctor and have it checked out.

Certainly, there are many reasons for chest pain that are not associated with heart attack, but you can't gamble with the health of your heart.

Doctors routinely do EKGs and check blood work when someone comes in with chest pains as tests can help evaluate the situation fully.
