The co-owners recently opened a Center City cocktail lounge designed for people to visit before or after dinner — think of it as a “music and cocktail hideaway.”
Leda & The Swan, at 1224 Chestnut St., formerly housed Sumo Lounge.
“We made a lot of decor changes,” Lu said. “The actual structure of the space is the same.”
Up next: They’re opening a Mexican restaurant this month at The Piazza in Northern Liberties.
“Añejo is actually the third location,” Lu said of Añejo Restaurant Group. “The other two locations are in Hell’s Kitchen in Tribeca of New York.”
He said Añejo takes a new approach to traditional Mexican food — and it has “a great tequila program.”
“Must have dishes at Añejo? I’m just a taco guy,” said Gibbons. “I’m easy — tacos, chips, nachos.”
Be sure to make room for dessert, too.
“The one very popular thing that sounds so simple is the churros,” Lu added.
