PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One of Philadelphia's biggest events for foodies, combining the culinary and performing arts, celebrates 10 years next week.

The theme of this year's milestone Feastival is "DECADEnce," marking the decade anniversary of the party.

Although Feastival has been held at several different locations over the past 10 years, this one will take over the new-and-improved Cherry Street Pier on Sept. 26

"Feastival is co-hosted by Audrey Claire Taichman, Michael Solomonov, Nick Elmi and Stephen Starr, and they brought together this concept to bring the culinary scenes and the art scenes in Philadelphia and bring this huge party every year," she said.

Even though they're expecting about 1,000 people, logistics planner Kelly Clark said you won't have to wait long at the bar.

"Drink-wise, we have the most bars participating than we've ever had before," she said. "We have a total of 10 bars, not including the sponsor lounges, which would add an additional two bars."

Every cent from the food festival benefits FringeArts.

"We're hoping to raise about $600,000 to $700,000 this year," added Marder. "In total, we've raised about $5 million."
