PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 20-year-old woman was stabbed at Lincoln High School in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia Thursday morning, and police say they have one person in custody.

Around 9:30 a.m., school district officials say the adult student was stabbed in the head during a fight that broke out in the school. Officials say the victim first went to the nurse's office with a "surface wound" and then she was taken to the hospital. She is expected to be okay.

Police say they arrested the person who stabbed her, and they recovered the weapon. There is no word from officials on whether there will be charges.
