Officials say some, but not all, of the children tested positive for the coronavirus or had COVID-19 antibodies.
Officials say signs of the illness include a fever lasting more than five days, inflammation, poor function in one or more organs and symptoms similar to shock.

He said even though children are less likely than older adults with underlying health issues to have severe reactions to coronavirus, they are not immune to serious complications.”
“We really better be careful, particularly when it comes to children. Because the more and more we learn, we’re seeing things that (the coronavirus) can do. We don’t know everything about this virus,” he said. “
The Boston Children’s Hospital panel says, as of now, they’re not sure how exactly the illness is triggered, and more research needs to be done.
