DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — A former Northampton Township supervisor and his girlfriend both get county jail time for getting a woman drunk so they could try to take naked pictures and videos of her.

Larry Weinstein is sentenced to 11.5 to 23 months in county jail and five years probation. His girlfriend and co-defendant Kelly Drucker is sentenced to nine to 23 months in jail along with probation.

The pair pleaded guilty to carrying out "the mission," which were efforts to get a woman drunk in hopes she would use Drucker’s bathroom, where the couple had set up a camera pointed at the toilet.

Those efforts included spiking her wine with Everclear.

Investigators found hundreds of text messages from the night, which the judge described as a glimpse into the brains of the defendants in what he described as "the sickening betrayal of this nice woman."

When the woman passed out in the bathroom, Weinstein urged Drucker to use spy glasses they bought — seemingly normal eye glasses equipped with a hidden camera. Prosecutor Jen Schorn argued for state prison time, saying this behavior went beyond typical invasion of privacy.

"Kelly Drucker was a trusted friend, a fellow mother, someone she thought she was simply dining with and the victim in this matter had no idea of her sinister intentions," Schorn said.

The victim testified she had no idea what happened that night and thought she got sick because of food poisoning. She woke up without pants on, and for days, apologized to Drucker and Weinstein for her behavior. It wasn’t until months later when detectives showed her the text messages and images of her.

While the couple swear they didn’t touch the victim, she testified she has no idea what else might have happened to her that night. She said she’ll never be the same and can’t figure out why they targeted her.

Both Drucker and Weinstein apologized to her, saying they wish they could take it back.
