But one worker says they’re training ride operators, and rides are already getting wiped down and sanitized.
On the boardwalk, business owners and visitors are equally excited.
“It lifts spirits, just seeing everything open and the rides opening up. It helps during these tough times. Something to look forward to,” said Wildwood regular Brian Blanford, who can’t wait to get back on the log flume.

June 24, 2020 And boardwalk shop owners like Pauline Curran are looking forward to the rides returning.
“We’re delighted. We think it will change everything. Things are quiet but they’ll be much busier once the rides open because they’ll attract much more people,” Curran said.
And now that they have an opening date, Morey’s Pier is looking to fill over 500 seasonal positions.
