Traffic pattern changes are being phased in on the span connecting Ewing Township on the New Jersey side with Lower Makefield in Bucks County.
"Traffic is moving across the bridge in the Pennsylvania-bound direction in a single lane from I-295 in New Jersey as well as the newly opened on-ramp from Rte. 29 onto I-295 just before the Scudder Falls Bridge,” Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission spokesman Joe Donnelly told KYW Newsradio.

A second Pennsylvania-bound lane should open by Thursday afternoon.
New Jersey-bound traffic will use the old span until July 24, when everyone will be shifted to the new bridge. The old one will be torn down and replaced over the next two years. When that span opens, one bridge will be dedicated to traffic in each direction.
Tolls will be one-way into Pennsylvania starting Sunday. No cash will be accepted. It's $1.25 for cars using E-ZPass, and $2.60 if the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has to send a bill in the mail.
Some 60,000 cars use the Scudder Falls Bridge daily, although usage has been down during the period of construction.
