Maddie Tuteur can be counted among the countless number of kids who are "Frozen" fanatics.
Maddie has been diagnosed with a condition caused by a genetic mutation. And with the help of State College-based Pixie Dust Wishes, soon she'll get to meet Elsa, Anna and Olaf the snowman when the family heads to Disney World.
It's a rare escape, explains Maddie's mom, Dara.
"As a family we have not gotten to taken many trips, it can be very difficualt with a child with special needs," she said
Maddie, who is 8 and half years old, has limited speech capabilities and partial hearing loss, and she has had major kindey problems.
"Her syndrome is called acrodysostosis," Dara said. "That's her primary syndrome, and it's very rare. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, when we were first diagnosed, told us 40 people or less."
Pixie Dust Wishes awarded Maddie the trip on Sunday during a festival in Abington to raise money for the group.
