It may lack the atmosphere, but Philly-area delegates make the best of virtual DNC

But she’s grateful for technology that’s letting her be part of it.

“At least I’m still able to attend and be part of the process. I think there’s something special about voting in person, but I’m happy to be able to do it online as well,” she added. 

State Rep. Matt Bradford from Montgomery County is also a delegate and said there’s still an energy as they work to back the Biden-Harris ticket.

“But also just the actual experience is very different. You don’t have the balloon drops, you don’t have the same level of the party atmosphere,” he said. 

But, he said, this election is much more important than a convention.
