Officials hope the $6,000 reward — $5,000 from SEPTA and $1,000 from the Citizens Crime Commission — and a video released Monday will help them find the two men, who attempted to rob a 57-year-old SEPTA employee as he was exiting the Chestnut Hill West Line train.
As passengers got off the train at Carpenter Lane, the employee was shot once in the hip.
"Those two men are SEPTA's most wanted people," said SEPTA Police Chief Thomas Nestel. "Very, very rarely do we have incidents where our employees are injured. This is one of those incidents — that's why it is so important to us to get those two people off the street.
