OCEAN CITY, NJ. (KYW Newsradio) -- A small, single-engine plane made an emergency landing on the beach in Ocean City, New Jersey on Saturday morning.
Ocean City Police say the beach was empty when the plane landed on sand at 49th Street around 8:30 a.m.

June 1, 2019 The pilot was the only person on-board, and he was not injured. The plane did sustain some minor damage.
Police blocked off a section of the beach as the FAA investigated what happened.
