As the longtime director of Bucks County Military Veterans Affairs, Dan Fraley has overseen many job fairs. But he says Friday's inaugural Delaware Valley Veterans Benefits Expo will be offering much more for veterans, spouses, widows and children.
"We have roughly 70 exhibit tables confirmed, they're all nonprofits and veteran-oriented," he explained.
Among the offerings include a VA town hall meeting, conferences for women and post 9/11 veterans and, of course, job recruiters.
"PA CareerLink, we also have some large employers. Bucks County will be there, the Human Resources Department, Parks, they're looking to hire some veterans also. So it's gonna be a combination of everything, I think. As long as I've been around I haven't seen anything like this, not to say that there hasn't." Fraley added.
The free event runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Parx East in Bensalem.
