May 31, 2020 Hall was allegedly looting a beauty supply store nearby when the bike officer tried to stop her. She then drove off, allegedly hitting Nieves with her rental car in the process. The incident was caught on cellphone video.
Nieves suffered a broken arm, shoulder and ribs, and fractured vertebrae. He is still recovering.
Prosecutors say that same night, Hall ditched the rental car along Eastwick Avenue in Southwest Philly and reported it as stolen. They have video evidence of it.
Hall is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and other related charges.
Her bail was set for 10% of just over $500,000, but she remains in jail.
