PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — This weekend on The KYW To-Do List: Watch BlackStar Film Festival shorts and movies by filmmakers of the African diaspora, pick your own sunflower bouquet, or stuff your face with free pancakes while buying local art.

EVENT: BlackStar Film Festival

DATE/TIME: Through Sunday

WHERE: Online and various location across the city

DETAILS: Now in its 10th year, BlackStar celebrates filmmaking from the African diaspora and global communities of color with 80 films and 14 different panels. This year’s festivities include a daily morning show, panels, yoga and a combination of short and feature-length films.

PRICE: All-access pass is $125; individual tickets for virtual screenings are $5

EVENT: Back to Kampoeng — Indonesian Independence Day Celebration

DATE/TIME: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: Fleisher Art Memorial, 719 Catharine St., Philadelphia

DETAILS: Indonesia celebrates its 76th anniversary as an independent nation, and locally, Modero & Co, in partnership with Kampoeng and the Philadelphia Praise Center, are bringing in food vendors, artists and performers for a little festival.

PRICE: Free to attend

EVENT: The Philadelphia Pancakes and Booze Art Show

DATE/TIME: Saturday, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

WHERE: Underground Arts, 1200 Callowhill St., Philadelphia

DETAILS: Browse works of art from more than 75 exhibitors, while nibbling free all-you-can-eat pancakes. There will also be performances from local DJs and producers.

PRICE: $15

EVENT: Black Panther in Clark Park

DATE/TIME: Friday, 7 p.m.

WHERE: Clark Park in West Philly

DETAILS: Wakanda forever! Bring your own chair and come out for a screening of "The Black Panther" in Clark Park. Designated seating areas will ensure safety from COVID-19. A free vaccination event begins at 6 p.m.

EVENT: West Chester Railroad Summer Picnic

DATE/TIME: Sunday, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE: West Chester Railroad, 203 East Market St., West Chester

DETAILS: Bring your own lunch and take a scenic 90-minute train ride to Glen Mills to eat in the picnic grove.

PRICE: Adults are $17, kids are $15

EVENT: Sunflower Festival

DATE/TIME: Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Rd., Yardley

DETAILS: Make a bouquet of sunflowers hand-picked by you! This festival dedicated to sunflowers includes wagon rides, go-carts and more.

PRICE: Admission is $7 online and $8 in person

EVENT: Goshen County Fair

DATE/TIME: Through Saturday

WHERE: 1320 Park Ave #6251, West Chester

DETAILS: There is something for the whole family at this county fair, from animal exhibits featuring cows and goats, to rides, and a "fry booth." Come out for some outdoor fun.
