
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating a homicide and two other shootings across the city, all before dawn on Saturday.
Police say a 39-year-old man was shot several times in Feltonville, just before 4 a.m. on the 3800 block of Castor Avenue. He was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead at 4:23 a.m.
A 36-year-old man was shot at roughly the same time on Cecil B. Moore Avenue near 23rd Street in North Philadelphia, according to authorities. He was hit twice in the leg and is in stable condition.
Hours earlier, just after 1, police say a 25-year-old woman was shot in the knee on Limekiln Pike near 68th Avenue in West Oak Lane. She is reportedly in stable condition. Investigators located a weapon at the scene.
No arrests have been made in all three shootings. Authorities ask anyone with information to call the city’s Homicide Unit or 215-686-TIPS. A $20,000 reward is available for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the homicide case.
