PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Another teenager has been shot in the city.
Police say it happened around 12:45 Monday morning near Sydenham and Master streets in North Philadelphia.
A 15-year-old girl was shot once in the leg. She was taken to the hospital, where she is in stable condition.
Police have not made any arrests.
Several hours later and a few blocks north, another set of shootings claimed the life of an 18-year-old woman and injured two men. Then, another shooting around 11:40 a.m. injured a 22-year-old woman. She was shot in the knee in Torresdale.
More than 130 children have been shot in the city so far this year.
