

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 19-year-old man is dead and another man was listed in critical but stable condition after being shot in a home in Northeast Philadelphia, police said Thursday.
A suspect has been arrested in the case. Police said the suspect fired at officers outside the home before being apprehended. The firearm was recovered. No officers were hurt.
The double shooting happened Thursday night at about 8:15 p.m. at a home on Weikel Street between Ann and Monmouth Streets, according to authorities.
Police said that the 19-year-old man was shot in the nose. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, but was pronounced dead at about 8:45 p.m.
A 49-year-old man was shot three times in the same home, once in the right arm and once in each of his legs. He was taken as well to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
