Man fires shots after fight at North Philly Airbnb party; 2 injured

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two women were injured after shots rang out at an Airbnb party in North Philadelphia Friday night.

Police responded to a report of a person with a gun along the 2300 block of North 18th Street around 11:15 p.m. There, they found two women, ages 18 and 20, suffering from gunshot wounds to the stomach and face.

Officials say it happened after a fight broke out at a nearby Airbnb party and a man fired into the crowd.

The 18-year-old is critical. The 20-year-old is expected to be OK.

The exact location of the party has not been disclosed.

No arrests have been made. Police urge anyone with information to call 215-686-8477.
