3 charged with murder after NJ man found fatally shot in a pickup truck

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities in Burlington County have announced charges against three men, including one from Philadelphia, in connection with a fatal shooting last month in Willingboro.

Officials said Elijah Ervin, 33, Shaheed Ervin, 39, and Earl T. Johnson, 29, are charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and several related crimes in connection with the shooting death of 43-year-old Bruce Hall Jr. on the evening of Aug. 10.

Officers from the Willingboro Police Department found Hall shot dead behind the wheel of a pickup truck parked near Rancocas Creek in a residential area near Paddock Lane and Poppy Turn.

Elijah Ervin was arrested a day later, on Aug. 12. Shaheed Ervin eluded capture until Aug. 26, and Johnson was caught in Philadelphia on Sept. 17. He remains at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility until his extradition to New Jersey.
