PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A fourth teenager has been arrested in connection with the Dec. 13, 2024, shooting at Dilworth Park that injured three teenagers near the crowded Christmas Village. Authorities have charged a 17-year-old with aggravated assault, conspiracy and related offenses for his alleged role in the shooting.

Three other teens have already been arrested and charged with similar offenses. Police took a 14-year-old suspect into custody immediately after the shooting at the scene. They arrested a second 14-year-old suspect on Dec. 18. Their names are being withheld.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on Dec. 19 announced the arrest of 16-year-old suspect Raheem Hylton at a home in Frankford.

Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument on the afternoon of Dec. 13, near the skating rink outside City Hall. Someone was bullying the younger brother of one of the teens involved, leading to a fight.

Then, shots were fired, sending shoppers scattering for shelter and prompting many Christmas Village vendors to roll down their security doors.

Police said a 14-year-old was shot in the eye, and another 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were each shot in the leg. The names of the victims are being withheld, as well.
