PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating a series of Saturday night shootings in North Philadelphia that left six men hospitalized.

Authorities said they responded to reports of gunshots near Butler and Percy streets in the Franklinville section around 11:30 p.m. They found multiple vehicles hit by gunfire and spent bullet casings on the road. All of the victims had already left the scene, taken to Temple University Hospital in private vehicles.

Police also found a firearm near 8th and Bristol streets in North Philadelphia, and more blood, as well as a blood-soaked t-shirt near 9th Street and Hunting Park Avenue. A witness at the latter location told police a vehicle stopped in front of the location and pulled a victim into the car.
