PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man wanted in connection to a murder in Kingsessing nearly three months ago has surrendered.
In the early hours of Sept. 23, police say 25-year-old Theo James IV was fatally shot along the 5200 block of Chester Avenue.
The District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday that 37-year-old Andre Goff surrendered to police for his alleged involvement in the murder. However, they do not believe he pulled the trigger.
Goff, who was named earlier this week in a list of wanted fugitives, is facing a list of charges, including murder, conspiracy, and related offenses.
Assistant District Attorney Joanne Pescatore, supervisor of the Homicide and Non-Fatal Shootings Unit, says they are still searching for another person linked to the murder, so if you have any information on this case, call the Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334.
Police say James was at the scene of the mass shooting on July 3 in Kingsessing, scooping people up and helping them get medical aid.
