PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Another bear has been spotted in the suburbs, this time in Montgomery County.
Police in Hatfield Township said they received multiple phone calls about bear sightings near Woodview Drive and Line Lexington Road, just off of Bethlehem Pike.
The department shared pictures on its Facebook page of a black bear next to a tree in what appears to be someone’s yard.
Anyone who lives in the area is advised to keep their pets inside, doors locked and trash cans closed. And, of course, do not approach the bear if spotted.

Just a couple of weeks ago, game wardens and firefighters captured a bear that had been seen wandering around Clifton Heights, Delaware County. Officials shared video footage of the team wrangling it from a tree in someone’s yard.
They released it in a less populated, wooded area.
