Several Bucks County courthouse workers test positive for COVID-19

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Several employees at the Bucks County courthouse have tested positive for COVID-19.

Bucks County Court Administrator Stephen Heckman couldn't give an exact number, but he said it's less than six.

He said they're working with the Bucks County Health Department to contact anyone who may have been exposed.

However, Heckman said they have a pretty good idea of where the exposure likely happened. And, without getting into specifics, he assured it was not in a courtroom or in any publicly accessed area of the courthouse.

Heckman said some hearings and court proceedings have been rescheduled as other employees are getting tested. The tests are being conducted out of "an abundance of caution."
